Don’t miss seeing The Grapes of Wrath, adapted for Readers’ Theatre by Prof. Allison Green. The last on-campus performance of this compelling work will be Tuesday, April 13, 7 p.m. at Wolverton Library, Blackwood Campus, in observance of National Library Week. The performance will be followed by commentary and discussion led by Prof. Green. Other public performances throughout the county are listed at http://www.camdencc.edu/bigread/calendar.pdf.
See the movie under the stars!
Plan now to bring your lawn chair or blanket to the outdoor screening of the film version of The Grapes of Wrath, starring Henry Fonda, in the Truman Courtyard, Blackwood Campus, Saturday, June 5, at 9 p.m. (rain date June 6). If you’d rather see your movies in a theater, make a note of the indoor screening on Sunday, June 6, at 2 p.m. This will be followed by a discussion led by Prof. Matthew Sorrento.
The library staff have enjoyed partnering with Readers’ Theatre on this Big Read project this year and look forward to future collaborations.
